Schedule Repair

If one side of your oven scorches and the other stays cool, the cause is usually a worn element or a failing temperature sensor:

  • A burned-out bake or broil element
  • A faulty oven temperature sensor
  • A miscalibrated thermostat
  • A weak or stuck convection fan

Clicking with no flame, weak ignition, or no spark at all usually means an igniter, switch, or gas-supply issue on your range top:

  • A clogged burner cap or port
  • A cracked or weak spark igniter
  • A faulty igniter switch
  • Gas supply or regulator issue (gas ranges)

Modern ovens and ranges flash error codes for sensor faults, control-board issues, or door-lock failures. Codes shouldn't be ignored — they often signal something that will get worse without service.

No power, no display, or no response to controls. Could be a tripped breaker, blown fuse, faulty control board, or a damaged door-lock switch keeping the oven from starting.

Buzzing, humming, or a burnt-electronics smell points to a failing element, fan motor, or control board. Strong gas odors are an emergency — shut off the gas and call a certified tech immediately.

Why it matters

Why a Reliable Range Matters

A working range keeps your home running — for meals, for safety, and for your monthly utility bill.

Consistent Cooking

Even heat means food cooks the way it should — no burned edges, no cold centers, no ruined dinners.

Home Safety

Gas leaks, electrical faults, and overheating elements are serious. A proper repair removes the risk.

Lower Energy Use

A correctly calibrated oven or range uses less gas or electricity. Small issues quietly raise your bill every month.

Before you call

A quick
checklist before you call.

A few simple checks can rule out the obvious. If your appliance still misbehaves, our team is one call away.

Safety first

Smell gas? Shut off the gas, open a window, and leave the area before calling. Never relight an igniter when you smell gas.

  1. 01

    Check Power & Breaker

Confirm the range is plugged in and the breaker hasn't tripped. Reset the breaker once and try again before assuming a board failure.

  2. 02

    Inspect Burner Ports

Food debris in the burner cap and ports can block ignition. Wipe them clean and make sure the cap sits flush.

  3. 03

    Test the Temperature

Use an oven thermometer to compare the actual temperature with the dial. A 25°+ gap usually means a sensor or thermostat issue.

  4. 04

    Check the Door Seal

A worn door gasket lets heat escape, throws off cooking times, and stresses the heating element. Replace if it's torn or stiff.
