Schedule Repair

Puddles under the machine usually trace back to a single failed component:

  • A loose or cracked inlet or drain hose
  • A worn door boot seal (front-loaders)
  • A clogged or kinked drain line
  • A failing water pump or pump seal

Dead controls or a machine that won't begin a cycle. The fix is usually one of:

  • A tripped breaker or faulty outlet
  • A failed lid switch or door-lock assembly
  • A defective start switch or control board
  • A blown thermal fuse

A full tub at end of cycle is usually a clogged drain pump, broken drive belt, or stuck door-lock sensor. Modern washers refuse to spin if the lid/door switch doesn't register as locked.

Banging, grinding, or violent shaking usually points to worn drum bearings, broken shock absorbers, a damaged suspension rod, or an unbalanced load. Keep using it and you'll damage the drum or motor.

A washer that trickles, refuses to fill, or overflows the tub usually has a faulty water inlet valve, a stuck pressure switch, or a clogged inlet screen. Left alone, an overfill causes real water damage.

Why it matters

Why a Working Washer Matters

The washer is one of the hardest-working appliances in the house — when it fails, the whole household backs up.

Clothes That Last

An off-balance or hot-running washer chews through fabrics. Proper repair protects everything you own.

Water & Energy Savings

A calibrated washer uses less water and electricity per load — a small fix pays for itself.

No Water Damage

A slow leak or overfill can rot flooring and drywall. Fixing early keeps a small problem small.

Before you call

Try this
before you call.

A few quick checks rule out the obvious. If the issue persists, we're one call away.

Safety first

Unplug the washer and shut off the water supply valves before opening any panel. Never bypass a lid or door lock switch — they exist to prevent serious injury.

  1. 01

    Check Power & Outlet

Confirm the unit is plugged in and the outlet is live. Reset the breaker once before assuming a board failure.

  2. 02

    Level the Machine

Use a level on top of the washer. Adjust the front feet until it's stable — shaking and walking usually disappear instantly.

  3. 03

    Inspect Hoses & Drain

Check inlet and drain hoses for kinks, leaks, or sediment. A clogged drain hose is the #1 cause of slow drainage.

  4. 04

    Redistribute the Load

A single heavy item on one side causes violent spin cycles. Rearrange and try again — many 'broken' washers are just unbalanced.

Certified technician performing Why Expert Washer Repair Beats DIY
Done right

Why Expert Washer Repair Beats DIY

Modern washers combine smart sensors, digital controls, and tightly tuned motor systems. Guessing at parts or skipping a diagnostic step usually means buying the wrong component — and a second visit you didn't plan for.

Our certified techs arrive with the diagnostic gear, the parts inventory, and the practical experience to fix the issue the first time. We use factory-approved parts, and we back the work with a warranty on parts and labor.

We also catch the things DIY usually misses — worn bearings, hose deterioration, weak suspension — and flag them before they become the next breakdown.
